Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Baki Hanma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sasuke Uchica (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baki Hanma looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uchica wants to clinch.
Uchica tries to land a front kick but Hanma steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Uchica moves into range and clinches up with Hanma.
Uchica misses with a knee strike.

Hanma pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Uchica moves in looking to clinch but Hanma pushes him off.
Hanma takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Uchica tries to clinch but Hanma is having none of it.

Hanma lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Uchica blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Hanma works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Hanma wants to get back to striking at distance but Uchica won't allow it.

Uchica wants to break free but Hanma has control.

and Hanma decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Uchica's guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Uchica bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hanma's guard.
Uchica wants to pass the guard but Hanma is keeping the position.
Hanma is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Uchica looks gassed!

Hanma has a closed guard, preventing Uchica from standing up.
Hanma wants to hit a switch here but Uchica passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Hanma there!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Hanma is working to get back to half guard.
Hanma sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.

Hanma throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Hanma closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Hanma is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Uchica defends it well.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Hanma thows a huge punch but Uchica dodges it nicely.
Uchica is looking to control Hanma's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Uchica avoid being mounted?

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Hanma is pressing down on Uchica's thigh, looking to free his foot. Uchica is holding on for now.

Uchica looks like he's trying to stand up.
Hanma tries to pass the half guard into mount. Uchica knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Hanma takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Uchica tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Hanma counters by clinching up.

Hanma pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Uchica throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hanma throws a sloppy head kick and Uchica moves out of range easily.
A slapping leg kick lands for Hanma.
Hanma dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Uchica. That did some damage!
Good work by Uchica as he checks the leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Baki Hanma dominated that second round.
That's time! Back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Hanma throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Uchica closes the distance looking to clinch

and Hanma counters with a nice double leg into side control. Uchica won't be happy with that.
Uchica struggling a bit here.

Hanma tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hanma has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Hanma goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Uchica rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Hanma's guard! Nice work there by Uchica!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Hanma wants to sweep but no luck.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Uchica wants to get up but he can't break Hanma's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Hanma scores with a couple of body punches from the bottom.
Uchica wanted to stand there but Hanma had control of the position.
Hanma is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Sasuke Uchica has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
