Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hashim Jalilul Hassan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kang Gae Ri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gae Ri is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Leessang - Tears. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gae Ri avoids a punch combination nicely.
Gae Ri thinks about the counter body kick.
Gae Ri shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hassan but Hassan pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Hassan appears to be looking for a big counter.

Hassan feints a jab promting Gae Ri to slip. Hassan then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Gae Ri slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Gae Ri throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hassan was covering up waiting for the punch and Gae Ri finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Hassan seems keen to control Gae Ri's posture.
Hassan is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hassan connects with a nice short shot to Gae Ri's temple.
