PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eon Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Deni Mukhtar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mukhtar has chosen Goyang Dumang as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Deni Mukhtar!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Ron Honeybunn and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mukhtar looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Mukhtar has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Kane is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Mukhtar circles away from the clinch attempt
and Mukhtar counters with a series of strikes. Kane will be more careful next time no doubt.
Kane really is a fat lump.
Mukhtar's corner calls for a 1-2. Mukhtar obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Kane avoids the head kick by Mukhtar.
Mukhtar connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Kane takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Mukhtar bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Mukhtar is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Nice body punch from Mukhtar.
Mukhtar digs a good body shot into Kane's ribs.
Kane moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Deni Mukhtar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mukhtar sizes up Kane with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Kane takes one to the side of the head.

Kane takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Kane is breathing heavily.
A slapping leg kick lands for Mukhtar.
Kane walks into a left hand.
Deni Mukhtar is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Mukhtar dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kane. That did some damage!
Mukhtar lands a glancing blow to the side of Kane's head.

Mukhtar lands a really nice looking cross but Kane seems unphased.
Mukhtar is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Mukhtar stuns Kane with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Mukhtar blocks a head kick by Kane.
Mukhtar bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Mukhtar scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A jab from Mukhtar does it's job there.

Kane is rocked!
Mukhtar lands a jab to Kane's midsection.
Mukhtar has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Mukhtar feints with a jab and clips Kane right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Kane is sent crashing into the canvas and Mukhtar leaps in for the kill! Kane tries to get to his feet but Mukhtar is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Kane is in need of a savior and steps in!
