Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sam Nick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Robert Lee!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Colin Fotheringham and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nick throws a combination that misses

and Lee counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lee.
Nick keeping moving, preventing Lee from controlling successfully.
Lee is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Lee throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Nick works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Lee wants to pass the guard but Nick is keeping the position.
Nick trying to keep a closed guard but Lee is proving a slippery customer.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lee controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Lee works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Lee has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Lee looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Lee is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Lee is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Nick doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Lee.
Nick regains full guard. Nicely done.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Lee won't allow Nick to sweep him here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lee controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Nick will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Lee's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Nick is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Lee controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Lee drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Lee as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Nick screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Lee! Nice submission victory there!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Robert Lee!
After winning the bout, Robert Lee thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
