PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wilson Tony (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sabre Tooth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 1, fighting out of New York, Wilson Tony!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sabre Tooth!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Dean Styles and Eddie Farnsworth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tony looks to land a right hand but Tooth moved out of range.

Tooth throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Tony tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Tooth is in Tony's guard.

Tony looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Tooth is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Tony working for a triangle but Tooth defends it easily.
Tooth scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tony throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Tooth escapes and throws Tony's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Tony is trying to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tooth happy to just control the position for now.
Tony is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Tooth is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Tony is desperately trying to improve his position but Tooth has a good base and remains in mount.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Tooth cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Tony is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Oh Tony is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tooth takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Tony is wriggling around trying to escape.

Sabre Tooth decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
