Gonzalez avoids a punch combination nicely.
Sanford gets a clinch.
Gonzalez lands a hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Fred Sanford has been cut.
Sanford using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Gonzalez has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Sanford blocks an uppercut.
Gonzalez escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sanford defending well as Gonzalez loads up on a big left hand.
Sanford looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Sanford takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Fred Sanford seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sanford misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gonzalez is looking to counter the offense by Sanford and move into the clinch.
Sanford gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Gonzalez scores with a jab to the jaw.

Sanford throws a sloppy head kick
and Gonzalez counters with a crisp right hand that drops Sanford! Gonzalez lets Sanford back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

and Gonzalez scores with a counter punch that sends Sanford to the canvas! Gonzalez smells blood - he's punishing Sanford with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Sanford has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
