The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kamenov tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

and Leija counters with a left and a right that stings Kamenov.

Kamenov lands a big head kick that sends Leija tumbling to the mat! Kamenov takes a step backwards and waves Leija back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Alfredo Leija has been cut.
We've been told by Kamenov's head coaches at Spetznaz Training Center that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Leija lands a left and a right that send Kamenov crashing to the mat, dazed. Leija thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Leija fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Kamenov is out of range.

Kamenov throws a monster overhand right that drops Leija ! Kamenov follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

Aleksandar Kamenov decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
