The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pants throws a good cross that connects.
Sanders bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Pants is looking to regain half guard here but Sanders keeps moving and retains side control.
Pants takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Pants on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Sanders lands an elbow.
Pants taking punishment in the form of punches.
Sanders has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Pants tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Pants is working to avoid the ground and pound but Sanders connects with a decent elbow.

Pants wants to hold on but Sanders pushes him away.
