The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Combs shoots in and bounces Carreon off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Carreon trying to keep a closed guard but Combs is proving a slippery customer.
Combs could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Carreon has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Combs has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Carreon misses with a hook to the ribs.
Carreon avoiding damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Carreon tries to break free but Combs pushes him back against the cage.
Carreon tries to work over Combs's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Combs misses with a knee to the head.

Combs lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Combs tries a knee to the head but Carreon blocks it.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Combs has Carreon pressed against the cage.
Combs tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Carreon avoids it.
Carreon has had enough of the clinch but Combs keeps him there for the moment.
Carreon is trying to break the clinch but Combs is controlling him.
Combs prevents Carreon from breaking the clinch.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Carreon has had enough of the clinch but Combs keeps him there for the moment.
With the fighters up against the cage, Combs throws an elbow but misses.
Combs avoiding damage.

Combs has Carreon pressed against the cage, preventing Carreon from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Combs's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Combs shoots in for a takedown but Carreon shows good takedown defense.
Carreon circles away from the clinch attempt.

Carreon throws a series of punches but Combs moves out of range.

and Combs counters with a stiff right hand.

and Carreon connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Ramiro Combs has been cut.

and Carreon takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Jagger Carreon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Carreon!
Combs takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Combs is rocked!
Combs really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill...
Carreon lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Combs is looking to close the distance but Carreon sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Combs crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Combs is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
