Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fionn Mac Cumhaill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rex Steele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mac Cumhaill comes to the cage accompanied by Doomsword. Steele is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: whiskey in the jar. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mac Cumhaill uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Steele.
Steele tries to land a front kick but Mac Cumhaill steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Steele changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mac Cumhaill looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Steele fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Mac Cumhaill tries to escape but Steele is in control.

Steele tries to score with some ground and pound. Mac Cumhaill controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Mac Cumhaill is looking to regain half guard here but Steele keeps moving and retains side control.

Steele looks to land a body kick but Mac Cumhaill moved away.

Steele throws a hook but Mac Cumhaill avoids it easily.
Mac Cumhaill bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Steele misses with a wild combination.
Steele throws a head kick that misses.
Steele just misses with a punch to the body.
Mac Cumhaill avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Steele fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Mac Cumhaill is out of range.
Steele walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Mac Cumhaill checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Steele throws a left that rocks Mac Cumhaill and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Steele dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Mac Cumhaill regain composure!

It looks like Fionn Mac Cumhaill has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mac Cumhaill tries to buck Steele off but Steele is having none of it.
Oh Mac Cumhaill is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Mac Cumhaill regains half guard.
Mac Cumhaill seems to have got his legs back now.
Mac Cumhaill flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Steele not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Mac Cumhaill is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Steele's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Steele's back!

Mac Cumhaill looking to break Steele's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Steele remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Mac Cumhaill will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Mac Cumhaill is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Steele with him. Steele is trying to defend but Mac Cumhaill has an arm under the chin now! Steele grimaces and is forced to tap out!
