Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jay Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Rampage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rampage keeps the fight on the outside.
Santos tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rampage swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Santos closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rampage to the mat! Rampage manages to get full guard.

Rampage had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Santos is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Rampage Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Santos's back instead.
Rampage looks gassed!

Santos is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Santos turns into Rampage and is now in his guard.
Santos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rampage swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Santos would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
