The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riggs shoots in for a takedown but Omega shows good takedown defense.

Omega drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Omega scores with punches from side control.
Omega wants to stand but Riggs is controlling his arm.
Omega just content to control the position.
Riggs can't do much from the bottom here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Omega is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Riggs knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
