Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Allan Soulbridge!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Michal Lisner!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Edson Gomes and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lisner fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Soulbridge sprawls well initially but Lisner persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Lisner not doing much here.
Soulbridge is trying to control but can't.

Soulbridge is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Lisner pulls his head out easily.

It looks like Lisner might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Lisner with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Soulbridge shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Lisner is trying to defend but Soulbridge finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Soulbridge is breathing heavily.

Soulbridge looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Soulbridge thows a huge punch but Lisner dodges it nicely.

Lisner fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Soulbridge to the ground. Lisner is now in Soulbridge's guard.

Lisner got a little sloppy there for a moment and Soulbridge has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lisner has managed to get both his arms back between Soulbridge's legs - danger averted.

Soulbridge is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Soulbridge looking for a kimura from the bottom but Lisner passes into side control!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Soulbridge gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Lisner to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Soulbridge is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lisner defends well.
Lisner is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Soulbridge throws his legs up looking for a submission but Lisner uses it to pass to side control.
Michal Lisner has got the better of the ground game so far.

Soulbridge is looking for a sweep.
Lisner happy to just control the position for now.

Soulbridge is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Lisner asserts his dominance and retains side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Michal Lisner showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!


Soulbridge shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lisner as he avoids it easily.

Lisner shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Lisner is taking a breather. Soulbridge says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Soulbridge looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Lisner pushes past his half guard into mount!
Lisner takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

I would not like to be Soulbridge right now.

You can see the frustration on Soulbridge's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Lisner controlling the positon.

Lisner is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Soulbridge is defending well though. Lisner let's go of the attempt for now.
Lisner has the hooks in. Soulbridge is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Soulbridge trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Soulbridge is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Lisner just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Our spies down at at Sentinel Sparring inform us that Lisner has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Well Lisner has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
