Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Smee Again (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Speedy Light (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Speedy Light!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Arvi Lind and Anni Minnemäki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Again instigates a clinch.
Again wants to get back to striking at distance but Light won't allow it.
Light doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Again tries to pull guard but Light forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Light tries to circle away but Again has him pinned against the cage.
Light goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Light goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Again is trying to pull guard but Light turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Light wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Again stalls.
Again goes for a takedown attempt but Light pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Light will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Light goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Light wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Light looks to land a combination but Again avoids it well.

Again scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Light throws a right hand that Again ducks under and follows up with a left that Again also avoids with ease.
Light defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Again.
A shot to the liver by Light. Beautiful body shot.
Light lands a slapping body shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Again moves away from the strike by Light.
Light lands a really nice looking cross but Again seems unphased.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Again lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Again works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Again is fighting to break Light's control of his arms but Light is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Light really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Again. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Again slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Again sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Light's guard.
Light is trying to control but can't.
Again moves into full mount! Light won't be happy about that!

Light tries to reverse the position but Again maintains control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Again tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Again looking to control but Light is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Again punching from mount but Light doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Again wants to control the pace but Light is squirming around nicely.

Light tries to work over Again's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Light stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Light breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Again closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Light's guard.
Again throwing strikes but missing.
Again trying to control the position from guard on top but Light is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Again slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Light is adopting a defensive guard.
Again wanted to stand there but Light had control of the position.
Light keeping moving, preventing Again from controlling successfully.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Light controls Again momentarily but Again frees himself.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Again shoots for a double leg takedown but Light sprawls well. He's pushed Again's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
As Again backs off Light throws a huge counter combo but Again manages to avoid it all.

Light connects with a crisp jab.
Again dives in for a single leg takedown but Light sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Smee Again is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Light throws a jab when Again was well out of range.

Again closes the distance and pushes Light back into the cage.
Again wants to break the clinch but can't.
A right hand to the body from Light.

Again breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Speedy Light showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Again's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

A punch lands to the side of Again 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Again drives through with a takedown into guard.
Again throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Light works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Again stops Light from standing up.
Again throwing strikes but missing.
Again wants to pass the guard but Light is keeping the position.
Again controlling from the top position.

Light looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Again wants to control from the top but Light keeps moving.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Again lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Light tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Again was well out of range. Poor timing from Light.

Again has closed the distance and engaged Light in a clinch.
Again drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Light gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Light is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Again jumps guard but Light turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Again breaks from the clinch.
Light thows a left - swing and a miss!
Again swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Again closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Smee Again has scored more points in the clinch so far.
Again holding his opponent close, against the cage.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Again.
Again keeps control of Light as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Light stalling against the cage.
Light tries a body shot but Again blocks it.

Again pushes Light back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Again fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Smee Again. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Light misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Again fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
The referee is keeping an eye on Light - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Again will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Light up against the cage.

Again gets control of Light's arms and successfully pulls guard. Again will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Again is trying to control the position but Light postures up.

Again escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Light gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Again has his foot on Light's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Light works his way back into a safe position though.
Again is striking from the bottom but Light uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.
Light wants to lay and pray for a moment but Again keeps working.
Light content to control rather than advance.
Speedy Light is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Again is trying to get back to full guard.

Smee Again showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Light has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
