Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Victor Vessla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Sang-Hyeok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Victor Vessla!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lee Sang-Hyeok!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Nard Betker and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sang-Hyeok keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Sang-Hyeok looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Vessla wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Vessla swings widly with a right hand
and Sang-Hyeok counters with a low kick, right behind Vessla 's knee.
Sang-Hyeok misses with an attempted mid kick.
Vessla swings away with a body shot that misses
and Sang-Hyeok counters with a thumping low kick.
Sang-Hyeok bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Vessla takes a head kick and keeps coming.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Sang-Hyeok, right into the meat.
Vessla tries to clinch but Sang-Hyeok is having none of it.
Sang-Hyeok tries a quick counter leg kick but Vessla is wise to it.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Sang-Hyeok lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Vessla has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Vessla and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Sang-Hyeok's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Vessla connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Sang-Hyeok scrambles back to his feet.
Vessla rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Sang-Hyeok counters with a head kick.
Sang-Hyeok uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Vessla.
Vessla swings for the body but Sang-Hyeok moves out of range.
Victor Vessla seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vessla misses with a body shot
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by Sang-Hyeok. That's going to slow Vessla down.
Vessla jabs Sang-Hyeok to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Vessla tries to clinch but Sang-Hyeok moves out of range.
Sang-Hyeok defending well as Vessla loads up on a big left hand.
Vessla connects with a good right hand that stumbles Sang-Hyeok. Sang-Hyeok circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Vessla has taken the fight to the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sang-Hyeok manages to pull guard.

Sang-Hyeok is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Vessla defends well.

Vessla is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sang-Hyeok working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Sang-Hyeok decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Vessla, up you get!
Vessla scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Sang-Hyeok doesn't seem bothered though.

Sang-Hyeok wants to counter with a clinch but Vessla pushes him away.
Vessla loads up on a big right hand but Sang-Hyeok slips the punch.
Vessla misses the shot to the body.
Sang-Hyeok tries a quick counter leg kick but Vessla is wise to it.

Vessla moves into the clinch.
Sang-Hyeok misses with a short punch on the inside.
Vessla gets through Sang-Hyeok's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Sang-Hyeok wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Vessla has him pressed against the cage.
Sang-Hyeok blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Vessla lands a nice uppercut.
A nice right hand lands inside from Vessla.
Vessla lands with a right to the head.
Vessla misses with the head strike.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Vessla tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Vessla is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Vessla rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Sang-Hyeok counters with a good low kick that Vessla was not able to check.
Vessla scores with a nice strike.
Vessla ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sang-Hyeok moves away.
Sang-Hyeok flicks out a counter leg kick but Vessla steps away.

Sang-Hyeok wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Vessla has him pressed against the cage.

Vessla pushes Sang-Hyeok back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Sang-Hyeok is breathing heavily.
Sang-Hyeok is looking to take this one to the mat.
Vessla is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sang-Hyeok can do to turn this around?
Vessla makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Vessla blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Vessla lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Sang-Hyeok.

Vessla drops Sang-Hyeok onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Sang-Hyeok is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Vessla pushes Sang-Hyeok against the cage. Vessla is working some dirty boxing. Vessla pushes off with a quick right hook! Sang-Hyeok goes down! Sang-Hyeok tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Vessla moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
