Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Racka Lamb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rory Shachner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Racka Lamb could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Rory Shachner's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Racka Lamb!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rory Shachner!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Felipe Paraventi and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lamb fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Horrible takedown by Lamb or perhaps it was just good defense by Shachner which made him look bad.
Lamb throws out a loose jab but Shachner uses good head movement to avoid it.
Shachner defending well as Lamb loads up on a big left hand.

Lamb changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Shachner looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Shachner is looking for a sweep.
The referee asks Lamb politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Lamb prefers to stall for the moment though.

Lamb wants to take a breather but Shachner is having none of it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Shachner throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lamb's waist but Lamb gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Shachner off to one side.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Shachner moves out of range of the strikes.

Lamb shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Shachner is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lamb slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Lamb will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

It looks like Rory Shachner has been cut.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lamb throws a lazy right hand but Shachner sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Lamb gets to mount! Shachner was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Lamb tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Lamb wants to get back to full guard but Shachner has passed into side control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Shachner throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Shachner drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Lamb manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Shachner has Lamb in his guard.

Rory Shachner has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Racka Lamb is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Rory Shachner comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Lamb has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
