Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Doc Chillum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Julio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chillum's entrance music is High Hopes - Pink Floyd. A fine choice. Don Julio told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Julio's coach down at Midnight MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Julio's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Chillum swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Chillum throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Julio counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Chillum thinking.

Julio moves forwards but Chillum connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Chillum moves out of range as Julio strikes.

and Julio counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Sloppy strikes from Julio. Those never looked like landing.

Chillum on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Chillum throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Don Julio really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Alpha-Male Nutritional Supplements (q160) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
