Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mark Coleman Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kesuke Miyagi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miyagi has chosen Your'e The Best Around as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mark Coleman Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 48 - 12 - 3, fighting out of Hilo, Kesuke Miyagi!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Josh West and Jeff Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coleman Jr is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Miyagi is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Coleman Jr is controlling him well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Coleman Jr has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Coleman Jr and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

We've been hearing good reports from Coleman Jr's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
