The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
American shoots for a takedown but Dozer saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
American tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dozer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

American is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
