The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farris will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
No joy there for Farris, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Salamander fails with an attempt to clinch.
Farris throws a hook but Salamander avoids it easily.

Salamander clinches up with Farris and pushes him back against the cage.
Farris wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Salamander prevents Farris from breaking the clinch.

Salamander jumps into guard, dragging Farris to the mat.

Salamander pushes Farris off and gets back to his feet.

Farris tries to keep at a distance but Salamander has taken the fight into the clinch.

Farris escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Salamander ducks straight into an uppercut from Farris and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Salamander maanges to regain guard straight away.

Salamander is rocked!
Farris loads up on a big left hand. Salamander felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Farris looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Salamander can't hide his disappointment, as Farris celebrates the victory.
