And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Bobby Turner!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Sano and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Turner, as that shot connected.
Bobby Turner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Turner scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Turner throws a hook to the side of Yasumi's head but Yasumi sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Turner wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
A chopping leg kick lands by Turner.
We've been informed that Turner has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

We've been hearing reports that Yasumi has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Turner lands a nice shot to the body.
Turner looks to throw the jab but Yasumi is out of range.
Yasumi throws a quick counter head kick but Turner was just out of range.
Turner swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Yasumi.
Yasumi walks into a left hand.

It looks like Katsuya Yasumi has been cut.
Turner wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Turner swings for the body but Yasumi moves out of range.
Turner scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Yasumi doesn't seem bothered though.
Turner is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Yasumi rather than just go for the knockout.

Yasumi swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
A jab from Turner misses.
Turner rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Yasumi counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Turner misses with a straight left.
Yasumi slips a straight right by Turner.
Yasumi was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Yasumi closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Turner connects with a single shot there.
Turner works the jab nicely.
Yasumi takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Turner lands with a good body shot.

A jab-cross combination lands for Turner and sends Yasumi crashing to the mat! Turner follows him down to the mat - Yasumi regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Turner is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Yasumi is hurt! He's hurt bad - Turner fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Yasumi from any more punishment! Congratulations to Turner! Great finish!
