Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tory Moss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Flyn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joe Flyn has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Tory Moss!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Flyn!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Richard Clark and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Moss throws a nice outside leg kick.
Moss gets off balance looking for a body kick

and Flyn counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Moss works his way to full guard. Good work.
Moss working a defensive guard here.
Flyn tries to stand but Moss is controlling from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Flyn wants to stand and escape but instead Moss has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Moss really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Moss is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Moss has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Moss stops Flyn from standing up.
Moss trying to control but Flyn is working from the bottom.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Moss misses with an uppercut

and Flyn counters with a shoot takedown. Moss fights it but they end up in guard.

Moss not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Moss wants to control the position but Flyn says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Flyn wants to stand up but Moss is controlling the position.
Moss has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Flyn is working away from the top position though.
Flyn is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Flyn prevents Moss from improving his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Flyn wants to get back to his feet.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Flyn moves out of range of the body kick from Moss.
Flyn with the counter takedown but Moss avoids it easily.
A big right from Moss misses.
A jab from Moss misses.
Flyn drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Moss defends it well.
Moss swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Moss scores with a jab to the jaw.
Flyn checks a low kick from Moss.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Flyn gets tackled into the cage by Moss. Moss maintains the clinch.
Flyn slows down the pace here.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Moss doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Tory Moss will probably get the nod.

Moss misses with a straight right.
Moss misses with a body kick.
Moss takes a swing at Flyn's ribcage but misses.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Flyn in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
Flyn has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Moss.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Moss throws a lazy right hand but Flyn sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
And Flyn tries to counter it with a takedown but Moss pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Moss is striking from the bottom but Flyn uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.
Flyn tries to stand but can't do so whilst Moss controls his leg.
Flyn is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Flyn tries to stand and escape but Moss actually recovers to full guard.
Moss has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Flyn has passed into side control.

Flyn working away.
Flyn tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Moss moves into the clinch.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Moss pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Moss closes the distance and clinches.
Flyn displaying some good clinch control by pressing Moss up against the cage.
Moss misses with the head strike.

Flyn prevents a body shot from Moss.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tory Moss dominated that second round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Flyn wants to stand but Moss has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Moss is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Flyn wants to stand but Moss is controlling his posture from full guard.

Moss looking to control but Flyn passes into half guard.
Moss wants to control but Flyn is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Moss is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Moss delivers a nice body kick.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Flyn blocks an uppercut.

Moss manages to break the clinch.
Flyn moves out of range of the body kick.
Flyn with the counter takedown but Moss avoids it easily.
Moss misses with a two punch combination.

Moss swings for the body but Flyn moves out of range.
Flyn avoids the head kick by Moss.
Moss throws a sloppy head kick and Flyn moves out of range easily.
And Flyn tries to counter it with a takedown but Moss pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Moss connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Joe Flyn has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Tory Moss is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Tory Moss showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Moss, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
