Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rich Casey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Gull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gull has his takedown stuffed
and Casey counters with a left to the body.
Gull dives in and grabs Casey's left leg, looking for a takedown. Casey pushes down on Gull's head and hops out.
A counter left hand to the body from Casey misses its target.
Gull shoots for a double leg takedown but Casey sprawls well. He's pushed Gull's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Casey is looking to counter punch.

Gull shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Casey as he jumps to the side.

John Gull seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gull is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gull with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Casey to score with a decent uppercut.

Casey throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Casey throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Gull might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Casey has got the better of the exchanges.

John Gull is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Casey lands a big right hand that sends Gull crashing to the mat! Casey stays standing though and waves Gull back to his feet!
Gull is still on wobbly legs! Can Casey finish him?
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gull gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Casey gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Gull is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
