Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Steve Montenegro and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodriguez instigates a clinch.
Kent jumps guard and drags Rodriguez to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Kent seems keen to control Rodriguez's posture.
Kent really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Rodriguez preventing the sweep.
Kent is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Kent is wriggling around but Rodriguez manages to pass to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kent moves into full guard.
Rodriguez won't allow Kent to get back to his feet.

Kent is looking to cinch up a triangle. Rodriguez throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Kent's body to avoid the submission. Kent has instead reached around Rodriguez's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Kent arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
