The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Myers scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Wolf doesn't seem bothered though.

Wolf drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Wolf postures up.
Wolf controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Let's hope that Wolf has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Wolf wants to pass the guard but Myers is keeping the position.
Wolf is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Myers will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Wolf.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Myers is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Wolf is controlling him.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Wolf stays in close to Myers's body and controls the position.

Wolf is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Myers's shoulder. That is not cool.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Myers tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Wolf wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
A lull in the action here.
Myers is looking to reverse the position.

Wolf looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Wolf is chipping away with strikes.
Myers regains half guard.
Wolf tries to pass to full mount but Myers defends it.
Wolf is taking a breather. Myers says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Wolf frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Myers tries to lock up and control but Wolf gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's time! Myers's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Wolf has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Myers enables Wolf to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Myers manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Myers can't keep his opponent in guard - Wolf advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Well, if Wolf is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Myers is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Wolf lands a big shot there that rocks Myers but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Wolf is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Myers is defending well though. Wolf let's go of the attempt for now.
