Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rick Moss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abraham King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rick Moss has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rick Moss!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Abraham King!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

King drives through and clinches with Moss against the cage.
Moss jumps guard but King stands there with Moss around his waist. Moss gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

King pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Moss really is a fat lump.
Moss tries for a takedown but King sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

King gets in close and instigates a clinch.
King tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
King will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Moss up against the cage.

King pulls guard effortlessly.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Moss stays in close to King's body and controls the position.
Moss postures up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Moss engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Moss has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

King has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Moss can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Moss content to stall in guard here.
Moss with a flurry of punches that miss.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

King working for a triangle but Moss defends it easily.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Moss goes for a double leg but King avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as King continues to drive forward.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rick Moss. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Moss drives through with a takedown into King's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

King pushes Moss off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Abraham King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

King fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Moss sprawls well initially but King persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

King seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Moss has recovered full guard.
King working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

King prevents Moss from improving his position.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with King in particular looking to stall.
Moss might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
King seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Moss does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Moss works his way to full guard. Good work.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Moss has his foot on King's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. King works his way back into a safe position though.

King drops back, looking for a kneebar! Moss looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Moss looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Moss!


Moss working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Moss remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

King shoots in and bounces Moss off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

King stands up and waves to Moss to follow him.
King throws a right hand that Moss ducks under and follows up with a left that Moss also avoids with ease.
Moss wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

King postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

King is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

King must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

King stands and steps away. Moss gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Moss gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows King to score an easy takedown into full guard.

King throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Moss works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Moss is trying to keep King in close.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

King clinches with his opponent.

King drags the fight down to the ground.
King wants to stand but Moss is controlling the position.

King is looking for a triangle here but Moss uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
King is breathing heavily.

King is trying to get back to half guard.
Abraham King has got the better of the ground game so far.
Moss connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused King some visible discomfort.
Moss just content to control the position.
King is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Moss's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Moss perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Moss thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed King's head.

Abraham King showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!



King closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Moss to the mat! Moss manages to get full guard.

Moss has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but King can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as King accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

King wants to control from the top but Moss keeps moving.

King gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

King is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Moss's half guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Moss keeping moving, preventing King from controlling successfully.
King is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Abraham King comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well King has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
