The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua tries to clinch up.
Bison looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Rua fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bison manages to avoid it.

Rua scores a takedown into full mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rua can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bison is looking to escape.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Rua cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Rua looking to control and managing it successfully.
Bison is looking to get to half guard.
Bison wants to hold on but Rua pushes him away.

Rua raining down shots from the mount!
Rua looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Rua has hold of Bison's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Bison manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Rua cracks Bison with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Rua tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Bison in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Rua sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Bison really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rua. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
