Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jake Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Butch Hardgrove (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Butch Hardgrove enters the cage!

Ryan has control of Hardgrove's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Hardgrove regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Ryan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hardgrove looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Ryan is stalling here. Hardgrove is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Ryan seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Hardgrove has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Hardgrove swings wildly with an uppercut but Ryan uses good head movement to avoid it.

Hardgrove throws a right hand that Ryan ducks under and follows up with a left that Ryan also avoids with ease.

and Ryan counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
