PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jihad De Indio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Bimber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Justin Bimber was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jihad De Indio!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Justin Bimber!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Daniel Cesar and Mauricio Rocha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bimber takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Bimber moves into the clinch.
Bimber prevents De Indio from breaking the clinch.
De Indio wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Bimber has him pressed against the cage.
Bimber is looking for a takedown.
Bimber has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. De Indio is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
De Indio tries to circle away but Bimber has him pinned against the cage.

Bimber lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Bimber lands strikes from half guard.
De Indio is trying to stand back up but Bimber is controlling him
Bimber working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Bimber looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks De Indio with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bimber connects with a nice short shot to De Indio's temple.


De Indio is rocked!
Bimber scores with a big shot! De Indio's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save De Indio! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Justin Bimber!
