Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gail English (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cono McGregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGregor has chosen foggy dew as his entrance music. Cono McGregor told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGregor tries to bum rush English with a series of wild strikes but English uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Good leg kick by McGregor there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
McGregor throws a series of punches but English avoids them all with ease.
McGregor throws a combination that misses

and English counters with a single leg into guard. McGregor didn't expect that.
McGregor utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
English postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

McGregor looking for a guillotine here but English defends easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McGregor controls English momentarily but English frees himself.

English drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says English as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! McGregor screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with English! Nice submission victory there!
