Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Zurgadai Jebe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and D Z Canon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Canon has chosen Break Stuff as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that D Z Canon was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Canon scores with a crisp jab that stopped Jebe in his tracks.
Canon throws a looping overhand right but Jebe ducks down to avoid it.
Jebe appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.

Jebe gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Canon blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Jebe throws a punch but it's blocked by Canon.
Jebe blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Jebe turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Jebe manages to end up in side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Canon can do anything to dispel that myth.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

You get the feeling that Canon really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Jebe lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jebe is landing with some decent strikes but Canon is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
