Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between PP Petelius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pietari Manninen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Petelius comes into the arena with Nalle Lehtonen blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pietari Manninen!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manninen drops Petelius with a right and a left! Manninen comes rushing in but Petelius regains his composure and manages to keep Manninen in guard.
It looks like PP Petelius has been cut.
Petelius utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Petelius has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Manninen has passed into side control.
Petelius tries to improve position but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Manninen wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Petelius, who protects the arm well.
Manninen trying to control the position but Petelius is working away.
Manninen working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Petelius gets back to half guard.

Manninen throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Manninen trying to mount his opponent but Petelius defends it.
Manninen wants to work for an arm triangle but Petelius is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Petelius is looking to improve his position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
A nice combination there by Manninen.

Manninen looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Petelius is breathing heavily.
Manninen wants to control but Petelius is keeping him busy.
Manninen is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Manninen scoring with strikes but Petelius is staying in there.
Manninen looking to control but Petelius is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Manninen looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Manninen has control of Petelius's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Petelius regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Petelius is wriggling around trying to escape.
Manninen lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Manninen goes for an armbar but Petelius turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Petelius.
Manninen is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Petelius passes into half guard.

Petelius wants to control but Manninen is keeping him busy.

Manninen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Petelius doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Petelius manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Manninen is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Petelius thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on PP Petelius's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Manninen looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Petelius!
Manninen jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Petelius is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Petelius and Manninen has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Petelius is looking to regain half guard here but Manninen keeps moving and retains side control.
Petelius managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Manninen.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Manninen has hold of Petelius's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Petelius seems comfortable defending it but Manninen has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Petelius is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Petelius is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Manninen couldn't care less - he's delighted!
