The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Sam Margolis and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Looped looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Roberts!
Looped is trying to get an arm triangle but Roberts is defending well.
The strikes coming from Looped are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Roberts misses with a strike from the bottom.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Roberts can do anything to dispel that myth.
Looped working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.

Looped tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Looped has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Looped swings around for an armbar but Roberts sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Looped's guard.
Roberts throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Looped works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Looped had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Roberts defends it easily.

Roberts connects with a couple of short punches.
Roberts tries to free his leg and advance position but Looped is retaining full guard.
Roberts postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Roberts distracts Looped with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Roberts stands up over Looped, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Looped is rocked!
Roberts gets to his feet and stands over Looped, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Looped felt that one! Roberts unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Looped from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jeff Roberts!
