Del Rio kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Requiem for a dream. The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prokhorov lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Del Rio backs up against the cage.
It looks like Alberto Del Rio has been cut.
Del Rio moves to clinch but Prokhorov breaks away
and Prokhorov counters with a left and a right that stings Del Rio.
Del Rio fails with an attempt to clinch.
Prokhorov tries a quick counter leg kick but Del Rio is wise to it.
Prokhorov throws a right and a left that Del Rio avoids nicely.
Prokhorov fails to land with a series of punches.
Prokhorov listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Del Rio is rocked!
Prokhorov is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Prokhorov is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Del Rio hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
