The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vessla closes the distance and clinches.
Vessla scores with a hook to the body.
Vessla has Nakagata pressed against the cage, preventing Nakagata from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Vessla lands with a short shot to the head.
Vessla lands a shoulder strike.
Vessla scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Vessla lands with a left to the head.

Nakagata is rocked!
Vessla lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Oh Nakagata is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Vessla lands with a light punch inside.
Vessla blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Nakagata is breathing heavily.

Vessla drops Nakagata onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Nakagata is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Vessla lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Nakagata to his knees! Vessla keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
