Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Blair Reeves!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jordan Schlansky!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schlansky tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Reeves darts in trying to clinch
and Schlansky counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Schlansky throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Schlansky swings away with a body shot that misses
and Reeves counters with a head kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Schlansky gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Reeves counters by moving into the clinch.

Reeves throws a punch but it's blocked by Schlansky.
Schlansky blocks a body shot from Reeves.
Reeves is trying to drag Schlansky to the mat but Schlansky just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Reeves is trying to pull guard but Schlansky has him pressed against the cage.
Schlansky is pressed up against the cage. Reeves has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Schlansky down to the mat. Schlansky avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

It looked like Reeves was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Schlansky scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Reeves doesn't seem bothered though.

Schlansky has closed the distance and engaged Reeves in a clinch.
Schlansky is trying to break the clinch but Reeves is controlling him.
Reeves really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Schlansky closes the distance and clinches up with Reeves, looking for a takedown. Schlansky pushes Reeves against the cage but Reeves circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A quick step to the side and Reeves tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Schlansky ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Reeves gets tackled into the cage by Schlansky. Schlansky maintains the clinch.
Schlansky misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Reeves.
Reeves tries to pull guard but Schlansky holds him up against the cage and eventually Reeves drops back down to his feet.

Reeves pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Schlansky pulls Reeves in close to his closed guard and prevents Reeves from doing any damage or advancing position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Schlansky is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Reeves uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Schlansky.

I would just about give that final round to Jordan Schlansky.
