Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Miues Rafki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Shore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice cross by Shore.

Rafki shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Rafki was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Shore bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Shore throws a chopping leg kick but Rafki manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Rafki shoots in and bounces Shore off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rafki gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Shore works over Rafki's head and body with a nice combination.
Rafki moves out of range of the leg kick from Shore.
Rafki shoots in but Shore avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Rafki shoots for a double leg takedown but Shore sprawls well. He's pushed Rafki's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Rafki gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Shore pushes Rafki off and scrambles back to his feet.
Rafki fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Rafki goes for a double leg but Shore avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Shore continues to drive forward.
Rafki throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Shore's waist but Shore gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rafki off to one side.

Shore has closed the distance and engaged Rafki in a clinch.

Shore jumps guard and drags Rafki to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rafki wants to control from the top but Shore keeps moving.

Shore looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Rafki not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Rafki darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Shore can do anything to dispel that myth.

Rafki is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Shore doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Rafki.

Rafki decides to stand and escape the position.
Rafki shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Shore pinned against the cage. Shore gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Shore will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Rafki looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Shore is fending him off so far but Rafki persists. Nope, Shore circles away and we're back to standing.
Shore tries to clinch up but Rafki circles away and keeps his distance.
Rafki shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Shore but Shore pushes him off and we're back to square one.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Shore enables Rafki to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Shore manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Shore has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Rafki off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Shore manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Rafki on his heels. He'll look to pass Rafki's guard now, I'm sure.
Shore chips away with some ground and pound.
Rafki keeping moving, preventing Shore from controlling successfully.
Shore throws a big right hand that misses.

Rafki tries to score a power double leg takedown but Shore sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rafki somewhat.
Shore unleashes a big counter combination but Rafki bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Rafki stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Shore throws a right hand that Rafki ducks under and follows up with a left that Rafki also avoids with ease.

Shore closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rafki to the mat! Rafki manages to get full guard.

Shore is sitting in close to Rafki's body. Rafki has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Shore is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Shore is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Rafki.
