Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Weber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zug Izland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Chris Dean and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Izland throws a low kick but Weber avoids it.

Izland darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Weber makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Izland throws a wild body kick that Weber sees coming a mile off.
Weber stuffs the takedown.
Izland is trying hard to land a takedown here. Weber sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Izland has Weber up against the cage in a clinch.

Izland wants the takedown. Weber is fighting it off but Izland persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Weber's guard against the cage.

Weber jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Izland walks away with a smile on his face. Weber gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Izland dives in and grabs Weber's left leg, looking for a takedown. Weber pushes down on Izland's head and hops out.

Weber jumps guard and drags Izland to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Izland shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Izland was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Weber throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
