Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chang Ru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tigey Maquigregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ru's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Muay Thai Inspiration 3. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ru fails to land with a series of punches.
Maquigregor swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ru scores with a leg kick.
Maquigregor takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Maquigregor slips a straight right by Ru.
Ru throws a head kick but Maquigregor moves out of range.
Ru dodges the punch combination from Maquigregor.
Maquigregor misses with a series of wild punches.
Ru throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Maquigregor has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Maquigregor there as he acknowledges the shot.

Ru cracks Maquigregor with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Ru has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Maquigregor to stand back up!

Maquigregor gets tackled into the cage by Ru. Ru maintains the clinch.
Maquigregor is still on wobbly legs! Can Ru finish him?
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Maquigregor takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Maquigregor is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

Ru with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Maquigregor misses with a double jab.
Ru lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Crunch! Ru slams his shin into Maquigregor's torso.

Ru moves into the clinch successfully.
Ru tries a body shot but Maquigregor blocks it.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Maquigregor takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Maquigregor has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Ru seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Maquigregor can turn it around.
Ru lands a damaging elbow.

Ru tries to land a knee to the head but Maquigregor blocks with his arms.

Ru lands a body shot in the clinch.
Ru tries to work over Maquigregor's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Ru pushes Maquigregor back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Maquigregor breaks from the clinch.
Ru is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Ru connects with an inside leg kick.
Maquigregor misses with a few strikes there.
Good leg kick by Ru there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Tigey Maquigregor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ru lands a leg kick that knocks Maquigregor off balance momentarily.
Maquigregor takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Maquigregor takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Good exchange - Ru coming out on top.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Maquigregor walks into a straight right hand from Ru.

Ru darts in and clinches Maquigregor up against the cage.
Ru doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Ru lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Maquigregor or not.
Ru prevents Maquigregor from breaking the clinch.
Maquigregor trying to control the position but instead, Ru has worked for underhooks and has pushed Maquigregor into the cage.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ru creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Ru doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Maquigregor tries to stall but Ru uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chang Ru dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Ru avoids a punch combination nicely.
A counter left hand to the body from Ru misses its target.
Maquigregor's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Maquigregor rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ru moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ru wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Ru throws a front kick that sends Maquigregor stumbling back into the cage.
Ru's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Ru duly obliges.
Ru lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Maquigregor can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Ru and Maquigregor drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Ru.
