The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maxuimus swinging wildly here.
Maxuimus swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Perry throws a big counter combination but Maxuimus scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Maxuimus throws a good cross that connects.

Perry is rocked!

It looks like Jospeh Perry has been cut.

Maxuimus rushes Perry and presses him up against the cage.
Oh Perry is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Perry has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Maxuimus is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Perry seems to have got his legs back now.

Perry ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Perry no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Perry can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Maxuimus controls the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Perry striking off his back but it's not causing Maxuimus any problems.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Maxuimus in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Perry can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Maxuimus controls the pace.

Perry wants to get back to his feet but Maxuimus is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Perry will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Perry throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Perry misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Maxuimus fails to land with a series of punches.
Perry half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Maxuimus knocks Perry out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
