Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Noe Gates (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vinny Falcino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Falcino closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Gates did well to prevent Falcino getting side control.

Gates kicks Falcino off and gets back to his feet.
Falcino is looking to clinch.
Falcino shoots in looking for a takedown. Gates tries to sprawl out of it but Falcino keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gates manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Falcino is trying to drag Gates to the mat but Gates just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

A quick step to the side and Gates tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Gates tries for a takedown but Falcino sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A little jabbing left from Falcino on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Gates shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Falcino is trying to defend but Gates finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Gates fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Falcino avoids it really well and circles away.

Gates misses with a body punch.
Falcino is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Gates really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Falcino fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Gates lands a good knee to the midsection. Falcino won't want to take too many of those.
A frustrated look appears on Falcino's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Falcino is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Gates is defending well.

Falcino is trying to drag Gates to the mat but Gates just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Falcino tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Gates just stands there and leans against the cage.
Gates misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Gates keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Falcino's efforts to push away.

Falcino breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Falcino stuffs the takedown.

Falcino pushes Gates away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Gates gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Falcino is looking to reverse the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Falcino is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Gates's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Gates! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Falcino has tapped! This one is allllll over!
