Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dwain Brewer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gordan McGreggor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Dwain Brewer has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Dwain Brewer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Gordan McGreggor!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Andrew Berry and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McGreggor looking to score a takedown here. Brewer is defending well but McGreggor drives through and ends up in Brewer's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Brewer has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but McGreggor can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Brewer could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
McGreggor sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Brewer's guard.
McGreggor is trying to control. Brewer wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

McGreggor not landing any meaningful shots this time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McGreggor is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Brewer sees it coming and defends easily.
McGreggor frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

McGreggor lands a big shot there that rocks Brewer but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Brewer is squirming around, avoiding McGreggor's attempts to control the action.

Brewer might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

McGreggor seems to be looking for submissions.

McGreggor is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Brewer has managed to free his arm - good work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

McGreggor is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Brewer manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. McGreggor keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

McGreggor breaks from the clinch.

and McGreggor counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by McGreggor.
Brewer has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by McGreggor after a bit of a struggle.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

McGreggor keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Brewer's efforts to push away.

McGreggor escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Brewer swats away the attempt to clinch by McGreggor.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Brewer lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but McGreggor circles away quickly and effectively.
McGreggor wants to clinch up but Brewer keeps it at a distance.

McGreggor closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Brewer sneaks out the side door and pushes McGreggor away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

McGreggor looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Brewer manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Brewer gets caught napping as McGreggor dives in and scores a takedown. Brewer manages to retain guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

McGreggor with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

McGreggor gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Gordan McGreggor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brewer misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

McGreggor looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

McGreggor decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

McGreggor bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dwain Brewer will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!



The fight moves into the clinch position.

McGreggor ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. McGreggor no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
McGreggor wants to sweep but no luck.

Brewer drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but McGreggor manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Brewer has McGreggor in his guard.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

McGreggor works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
McGreggor has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

McGreggor is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Brewer has escaped the position, nice work there.
Brewer is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
McGreggor passes the guard and advances to mount!

McGreggor is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!

McGreggor tries to land a front kick but Brewer steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Brewer tries to sprawl but McGreggor drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Brewer wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and McGreggor manages to pass to side control.

McGreggor throws a series of punches but Brewer moves out of range.

McGreggor drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Gordan McGreggor comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well McGreggor has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
