Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bill Cosby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grant Morrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cosby comes to the cage accompanied by Hikky Burr. Bill Cosby has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Morrison misses.
Morrison looks to land a right hand but Cosby moved out of range.
Morrison misses with a body punch

and Cosby counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Morrison!
Cosby in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Morrison is looking to regain half guard here but Cosby keeps moving and retains side control.
The ground and pound from Cosby seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Cosby has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Cosby tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Cosby has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Morrison is trying to control Cosby's posture but Cosby avoids it.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Morrison can do anything to dispel that myth.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Morrison is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Morrison is trying to maintain the position but Cosby is very close to passing his half guard.
Morrison really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cosby. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Cosby is nestled in close to Morrison, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Morrison is staying active underneath Cosby, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
