The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roth takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Docia throws a sloppy head kick and Roth moves out of range easily.

Docia bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Docia tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Docia has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Docia wants to lay and pray for a moment but Roth keeps working.

Docia wants to finish this one by submission but Roth is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Docia.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Docia stands and throws Roth's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Kappa Docia dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Docia fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Roth to the ground. Docia is now in Roth's guard.

Roth wriggles free and stands up.
Roth doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Docia is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Roth's half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
