The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Erickson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Buennaventura defending well as Erickson loads up on a big left hand.
Erickson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Erickson misses with the combination.
Buennaventura drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Erickson defends it well.
Erickson fails to land with a series of punches.
And Buennaventura tries to counter it with a takedown but Erickson pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Buennaventura's coach down at Lights Out™ ($849 15 Elite Coaches!) was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Buennaventura's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Erickson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Buennaventura uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Erickson.
Buennaventura is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Erickson throws an overhand right that lands on Buennaventura's shoulder, as Buennaventura tries to avoid the shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Buennaventura keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Buennaventura and the ref steps in to end the fight! Buennaventura can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
