Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eduardo Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson has chosen I'm Fat by Wierd Al as his entrance music. Eduardo Gracie has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Gracie did well to prevent Johnson getting side control.
Gracie is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Gracie has hold of Johnson's hands but Johnson slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Gracie wants to control but Johnson is keeping busy.

Johnson seems to be working for a kimura but Gracie defends the submission attempt.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Johnson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Gracie's head.
Johnson looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Johnson is taking a breather. Gracie says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Johnson decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

It looks like Eduardo Gracie has been cut.
Johnson is pawing at Gracie, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Gracie's nose. Gracie is badly hurt! Johnson pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Gracie tries desperately to hold on but Johnson is relentless in his assault! As Gracie receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Johnson away and this one is in the books!
