Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vessla lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

It looks like Xau Xunga has been cut.
Vessla fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Xunga on the side of the head.
Vessla misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Xunga.
Xunga swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Xunga shoots in for a takedown but Vessla shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Xau Xunga seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Xunga misses with a hook to the body
and Vessla counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Vessla stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Vessla wants it to stay on the feet.
Xunga looks for a takedown but Vessla sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xau Xunga. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Vessla counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Xunga thinking.
Xunga is breathing heavily.

Vessla cracks Xunga with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Xunga looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Vessla finish him?

Vessla lands a slapping body shot.
Oh Xunga is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
