The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hales takes a head kick and keeps coming.

It looks like Mark Hales has been cut.
Hales shoots in for a takedown but Epirus shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Hales misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Epirus follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
