Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dan Skog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keikan Kira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kira is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Muga - Prayer to Villian. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kira throws a combination that misses
and Skog counters with a good, hard body kick but Kira shrugs it off.
Kira jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
We've been hearing reports that Skog has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Skog scores with a spinning back kick!
Skog misses with an uppercut. Kira saw that one coming.

Skog pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Skog throws a leg kick but Kira sees it coming and moves out of range.
Skog sizes up Kira with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

and Skog counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Kira needs to keep his hands up - Skog had a free shot at his head there.

Skog displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kira throws out the jab.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

It looks like Keikan Kira has been cut.
Kira takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Skog stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Kira throws a jab but it's blocked by Skog.
Kira is still on wobbly legs! Can Skog finish him?
Skog circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Kira drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Skog follows Kira to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
