The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Olson fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Massey checks it well.
It looked like Massey was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Massey really is a fat lump.

Olson darts in and clinches Massey up against the cage.
Olson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Massey breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Raleigh Massey has been cut.

Massey tries to keep at a distance but Olson has taken the fight into the clinch.
Olson is trying to push Massey away but Massey has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Olson has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Massey gets control of Olson's arms and successfully pulls guard. Massey will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Olson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Massey manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Olson has Massey in his guard.

Olson is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Massey asserts his dominance and retains side control.
